ORGANIZATIONAL DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM 
FOR:   ADVERTISING COMPANY


A. INTRODUCTION:



  • To Work effectively in organizations, managers must clearly understand the organizational structure.  Advertising Company also initiate the group behaviour.  Everyone has it's own different culture so that we must cooperate to each one another to have a better result.  To become successful you should first become a good follower as a leader of the company.



B. GENERAL GOALS: 



  • As a groups function and interact with other groups, each develops a unique set of characteristics.
  • To influence an organization , and management must be responsive.
  • Respond to the needs of its customers or clients.
  • Had faith in workers and showed how important they are. 



C. SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES:

  • To develop communication skills.
  • To develop diagnostic skills.
  • They must be trained to identify conditions symptomatic of the problem.
  • To become a good leader of the company.
  • To enhance on-the-job performances.
  • To work effectively in organizations.

(activities with description and dates)

 Business and Finance Manager:  March 22, 2011  Provide secretarial and administrative support to the Business and Finance Manager of a large central department comprised of  divisions and employees.  Secretarial duties include typing, filing and scheduling of appointments; maintenance of departmental and updating of campus-wide directories


Business Skills Competition:  May 13, 2011  Skill in reading documents written in standard English text such as administrative policy and procedure manuals.
 


Communication Skills:  August 5, 2011  Skills in speaking clearly and distinctly using appropriate vocabulary and grammar to obtain.



Cooperative Working:  November 26, 2011  Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with staff members, subordinates and administrators.



Clerical Ability:  December 15, 2011  Skill in supervising clerical personnel, to include delegating responsibility, training and evaluating performance.


F. ORGANIZATIONAL DEVELOPMENT FORUM:

OD is informed by a set of humanistic values and beliefs about the potential of people and organizations to develop and grow.  Through people and improvements to build future capability. It is concerned with the health and well-being of people at work and is rooted in a sound theoretical and research base.


G. ACTIVITIES NORMS:
     
  • Set workable norms for participation in their training sessions andtraining games.

  • Give the participants an experience of norms in action.

  • Gives participants the assurance that these norms can be adhered to.

  • Provide participants success experiences of goals being effectively achieved in a group setting.

H. ACTIVITIES FOR COLLABORATION:

     Working as a team on a special project will challenge both individual and group patience, intelligence and trust. Groups that form teams can be co-workers, students, children or even complete strangers. The key to establishing good rapport among a team is to assign the group adventures and projects that allow them to build confidence by working together in non-traditional ways.

I. ACTIVITIES FOR EVALUATION:

To influence other individuals to do what they might nit do in the absence of the leaders influence.  Interact with the other groups, each develops a unique set of characteristics and develop social skills.


J. ACTIVITIES FOR RECOMMENDATION:

To develop the company.  I recommend that the employees must clearly understand the organization or company  they belong.  They must initiate good behaviour, and follow their culture to be able to aim high their ability as an employee.  Interact with other groups, each develops a unique set of characteristics.
